Job Description
Enhance community health equity as a Hybrid Indigenous Health Specialist with Niagara Region. Lead initiatives promoting cultural competence in Public Health and Emergency Services while engaging Indigenous communities.
This role reports to the Manager of Planning, Evaluation, and CQI and focuses on embedding Indigenous perspectives into health promotion and program development. You'll drive the implementation of the Creating Our Way Forward Report by coordinating efforts with internal teams and Indigenous organizations. A strong emphasis is placed on relationship building and strategic planning to ensure cultural alignment in health services.

• Develop and coordinate Indigenous health policies
• Analyze and evaluate data quality for health initiatives
