Hybrid Financial Analyst at Sutton Special Risk

Sutton Special Risk is on the hunt for a motivated Financial Analyst based in downtown Toronto, with hybrid work flexibility. This role requires strong accounting skills and proficiency with Sage’s SEI module for effective financial reporting.
This permanent position reports directly to the CFO and demands expertise in general ledger accounting, bank reconciliations, and financial analysis. As part of the Finance team, you'll work closely with underwriters, brokers, and stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. The ideal candidate has advanced Excel abilities and a solid understanding of accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform general ledger accounting and bank reconciliations
• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close
• Conduct variance analysis and prepare financial reports
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis
• Support the team with premium and claim bordereaux tasks
