Job Description
Jacobs is seeking an Environmental Planning and Permitting Professional for a full-time hybrid position in British Columbia. Lead efforts in environmental compliance and permitting for vital infrastructure projects in the region.
As a key member of our dynamic team, you will engage with multiple stakeholders, including Indigenous groups, and oversee regulatory compliance for infrastructure projects throughout Western Canada. With at least 5 years of permitting experience, you'll offer valuable insights and direction on regulatory matters, ensuring successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guide federal, provincial, and municipal permitting processes
• Offer strategic guidance on approvals and risks
• Oversee environmental permits and compliance documentation
• Prepare materials for stakeholder and regulator engagement
• Foster skill development through mentorship of junior staff
