Job Description
Join the Abbotsford School District as an HVAC Journeyman, fostering growth for over 21,000 students. This 12-month role focuses on installing and maintaining heating and cooling systems across multiple facilities.
Positioned at our Facilities building on King Road, you will enjoy a stable Monday to Friday work schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Your work will ensure safe and efficient HVAC operations, contributing to the comfort and safety of all district staff and students. You'll leverage skills in inspections, repairs, and system upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
• Modify and inspect HVAC systems in schools
• Diagnose and research HVAC system issues
• Maintain records of equipment inspections and repairs
• Support trades staff with training on HVAC systems
• Complete requisitions for parts and supplies
Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma and HVAC qualification
• At least 3 years of HVAC experience required
