Become an integral part of Asahi Kasei Battery Separator Canada's HR team in Port Colborne. This full-time generalist role is key to establishing smooth HR operations in a startup setting.
Join Asahi Kasei to support the successful launch of its new facility. You will develop and implement HR policies, assist in recruitment efforts, and work on employee engagement strategies. Collaborate with various departments to enhance compliance and improve employee experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and execute onboarding and training programs
• Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures
• Manage employee relations and communication processes
• Maintain accurate employee records in compliance
• Participate in local career fairs for recruitment outreach
Requirements:
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in human resources
• 5+ years of HR experience, particularly in startups
• HR certification (CHRP) preferred
• Experience with HRIS, preferably Workday
