Responsibilities
- Resolves technical issues within the tool room.
- Designs Wax/Finishing fixture tooling.
- Assists Engineering on tool construction.
- Manually Programs and basic setup CNC machines.
- Supports manufacturing in CNC area.
- Writes NC code to run on CNC machines.
- Complies with all EHS rules required for the work environment.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education
- This position requires a minimum of an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Skills and Abilities
- Operating manual and CNC lathes, mills, and other shop equipment.
- Working to close dimensions/tolerances (+/- .001 and better).
- Finishing and hand-working parts to tight tolerances and high surface finishes.
