**Job Summary:**
Responsible for the inspection process for residential housing and advises appropriate parties who apply for assistance under federal, state or privately funded housing grant programs of the needs, options, methods and probable costs of the rehabilitation work necessary to restore the housing to standard condition. Will conduct home inspections for first time homebuyer, housing rehabilitation, manufactured housing replacement programs, Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program, and other grant programs pertaining to the Greater Opportunities Housing Program.
**RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):**
1. Conduct on-site inspections of residential properties to assess housing conditions, code compliance, health and safety concerns, and rehabilitation needs.
2. Perform inspections for programs including, but not limited to:
a. Housing Rehabilitation Programs
b. First-Ti...
