Job Description
The iconic Colonnade Hotel is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to provide overall support to the operations of the Director of Housekeeping and housekeeping department. The Supervisor coordinates activities of housekeeping team members and inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality standards are achieved. The ideal candidate will also have proven experience to communicate effectively with all departments, employees, and guests both inside and outside of the organization. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and heart of the house for cleanliness * Train, motivate, coach, counsel, and discipline staff members * Maintain a regularly scheduled cleaning program * Maintain supply and linen inventories * Update room statuses in the computer * Ensure housekeeping requests from guests or management are responded to in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner.
