Job Description
Hospitalist Physicians are sought for full‑time and part‑time service. The role involves 8am–5pm daytime coverage and 5pm–8am on‑call coverage, split among physicians covering the service for the week. Typically, each physician will have one call per week. A 1.0 FTE equates to 2 weeks per month (26 weeks per year). Hospitalist staff participate in daily patient care across multiple units outside the ICU, with opportunities for clinical research and teaching positions in collaboration with Dalhousie University.
