Overview
We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated practitioner to join our Prep School team as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to make a meaningful impact and support outstanding teaching and learning across the school. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in pupils' academic progress, pastoral development and wider school life within a warm, supportive and ambitious independent school environment.
Responsibilities
You will work closely with class teachers to assist in the smooth running of the classroom which will include planning, monitoring, assessing and managing classes to encourage pupils to become independent learners and to provide support for their welfare. You will supervise whole classes where required for PPA time or for short-term absence of teachers.
Qualifications
- Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
