**SUMMARY OF POSITION:**
This position is responsible for performing technical duties in preparation of surgical, autopsy and cytology specimens for microscopic examination.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):**
+ Associates degree, or two (2) year Histology accredited program required.
+ At least two years on-the-job training or experience is required.
+ Experience with personal computers is required.
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):**
+ Bachelors degree preferred.
+ Certified as HTL/HT (ASCP) or equivalent preferred or eligible for certification as HTL/HT (ASCP).
