Job Description
The Forklift Operator supports slitter machine operations by safely loading and unloading materials, handling products throughout the manufacturing process, and operating material handling equipment. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient production flow and offers a clear path to advance into a slitter operator position.
Responsibilities
+ Assist with loading and unloading material to slitter machines in a safe and efficient manner.
+ Support slitter machine operation by preparing materials, monitoring production, and assisting the machine operator as needed.
+ Perform general material handling duties, including staging, organizing, and moving materials throughout the facility.
+ Operate sit-down forklifts and motorized pallet jacks to transport materials and finished goods.
