A leading provider of highways and infrastructure services is seeking an experienced Highways Inspector to join their team in Sheffield. Working across a key highway maintenance contract, you will play an important role in ensuring the safety,pliance and condition of the local road network.
Your new roleAs a Highways Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting the highway network, identifying defects and managing maintenance works from initial survey through to successfulpletion.
You will carry out routine and reactive inspections across carriageways, footways and associated highway assets, assessing defects and determining appropriate remedial actions. In addition to identifying and reporting defects, you will scope, plan and coordinate maintenance and patching activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with contractual requirements.
