About the job
Do you have an inspection background in highways or a related area and looking for a new challenge? Do you enjoy being out on site but would like a regular daytime working pattern and more freedom to manage your own workload? Reporting to the Inspector Team Manager, you will work individually or with another team member to complete asset condition and safety inspections, survey works and provide feedback on quality of asset repairs.
Working patterns
Working patterns can be flexible by agreement with the team manager but contractually your working hours per week will be 37 hours. There may be a requirement to work unsociable hours, including nights, to respond to incidents.
Essential conditions
You will be required to drive as part of your role and must have no more than 3 points. Ideally, you should live within an hour's commute from the Depot.
