Job summary
An opportunity has opened up at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust (SFT) for two Highly Specialist, BSE-accredited Echo Cardiac Physiologists or Scientists to join our team. These roles would be ideal for physiologists or scientists looking to take the next step in their career or who are already established at this level but would like a new challenge.
The Cardiac Investigation Unit (CIU) relocated in March 2023 to a larger, refurbished department which has afforded us with new clinic rooms (including 2 dedicated echo & 2 multifunction echo rooms), admin spaces and staff areas. We also run echo clinics out of the Community Diagnostic Centre in central Salisbury.
We regularly review our Philips echo modality portfolio which now comprises of 6x EPIQ (2x at CDC), 1x Affiniti and 1x Compact 5500. All our echo rooms on-site at Salisbury District Hospital comply to BSE standards, with each additionally having height adjustable reporting desks for ergonomic ad...
