The Ideal HLTA Candidate Will Have:

A recognised HLTA qualification or a Level 4 or above child-related qualification

Previous experience supporting learning within a primary school setting

Confidence in leading small group work and covering lessons in the teacher’s absence

Strong communication skills and a flexible, proactive approach

A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development as an HLTA
