Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Primary School

Location: Redbridge, Ilford

Compensation: £120 – £135 per day (dependent on experience) | Full-time | Start: ASAP or September

The Role

As a HLTA, you will support teaching and learning across the school, lead whole‑class sessions, cover lessons, and provide targeted support to pupils.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
• Provide whole‑class cover when required
• Support small groups and individual pupils to raise attainment
• Work closely with teachers to support lesson delivery
• Assist with planning, preparation and assessment
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
