High Level Teaching Assistant

We are a two-form entry junior school, offering a beautiful setting, with excellent facilities, good resources, supportive staff and enthusiastic children. We are committed to inclusive practices, the achievement of high standards and working in close partnership with parents and the community.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, well-organised and experienced HLTA to join our school to support teachers within our mainstream classes or MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulty) Centre, running small group interventions and providing PPA cover within the year group as well as class cover across the school. The right candidate will need to have experience of being the lead person in the class without the presence of a teacher.

This post is for 3 or 4 days per week (18.75 to 25 hours per week) to be worked from 8.30am-3.15pm. These hours are worked during term-time (38.6 weeks per annum).
