Job Description

Streamline Recruitment are working in partnership with a fantastic long-term client who is looking to grow their team. They are seeking an experienced HGV Workshop Technician / Fleet Maintenance Engineer to join their busy operation.
You will be responsible for the maintenance and inspection of a fleet of HGV trailers and vehicles, ensuring all work meets legal standards and vehicles remain safe and reliable for daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and service HGV vehicles to required safety standards 
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults efficiently 
Source and order replacement parts as needed 
Respond to vehicle breakdowns and carry out repairs promptly 
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records 
Conduct routine servicing, including brakes, gearbox, and clutch 
Ensure all work meets high-quality standards and complies with safety regulations
