C+E HGV Driver
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Flexibility needed to cover some nights as required.
Base: Portbury near Bristol, with outbases in Stanmore, Gillingham, South Kirkby, St Helens and Motherwell (Scotland).
Role Overview: Provide professional driving and customer service delivering frozen food products to care homes, local authorities, hospitals and our Wiltshire Farm Foods franchisees.
Responsibilities
- Full‑time yard shunting; may need to shunt to and from the Trowbridge facility and trunk to our outbase locations.
- Undertake pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Full compliance with drivers’ hours, tachographs and road traffic regulations.
- Drive with a damage‑free and economical style.
- Serve as an ambassador of the company.
