We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 driver (s)for a palletised goods transport company based in Castle Donington, Derby.
The role involves multi-drop pallet deliveries using curtain-side or box trailers, with pump trolleys provided for manual unloading where required. Some deliveries may also be forklift-assisted.
The operation runs seven days a week, and flexibility with shift availability is desirable. All drivers are guaranteed a minimum of 8 paid hours per shift, regardless of completion time.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct daily vehicle checks before and after each shift, reporting any faults immediately
- Ensure all loads are securely fastened and compliant with transport safety standards
