Class 1 HGV Drivers Ad Hoc Work Coventry
365 People are currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) Drivers on behalf of our client based in Coventry.
This is ongoing ad hoc work with a well-maintained fleet and a variety of day and night shifts available. Ideal for drivers looking for flexibility rather than guaranteed block bookings.
PAYE DRIVERS ONLY pay rates between £16.50 - £18.00 per hour.
Day Shifts
- Start times between 05:00 06:00
- Curtainsider work
- Typically 2-3 deliveries and a collection
- Building site deliveries
- Some handball may be required
- Planned around 9 hours per shift
- Minimum 8-hour guarantee
Night Shifts
- Start times from 19:00
- Trunking work to and from Holyhead Port
- Fridge and box trailer work
- Approximately 11-hour shifts
- No port card required (photographic ID only)
