Position Details
Salary: £35,865.86 plus Veolia benefits.
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 6am – 3pm, with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break. Overtime when required, including weekends, back shifts and night shifts.
Location: Newbridge, EH28 8SY.
What you'll be doing
- Safely transporting vehicles and plant between various locations.
- Operating and maintaining heavy goods vehicles.
- Managing products and materials, loading and unloading.
- Operating vehicles in line with all training, procedures and legal requirements to protect the safety of yourself, your team, and the public.
- Checking your vehicle for condition and roadworthiness, completing the appropriate forms and reporting any issues immediately.
- Mentoring new drivers when required.
Qualifications
- C+E licence and experience.
- Up‑to‑date Driver CPC.
