Class 2 Driver – Temp to Perm
HireGiant are looking for a reliable and professional HGV 2 Driver to work with our client based in Leicester. This is an ongoing role leading to a permanent opportunity for the right driver.
The Role
You'll be doing 8-10 deliveries per day, delivering boxed meat to butchers and pubs across Leicester.
Your responsibilities
- Completing deliveries to pubs and butchers
- Driving the class 2 curtainside trailer safely
- Handling all meat deliveries, either hanging or in boxes
- Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accurately
- Maintaining excellent customer service standards as this is a customer facing role
Requirements
- Valid HGV 2 licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
- Strapping and Reversing competence
- New pass HGV 2 Drivers welcome – training and support provided
