Role and Facility Information
The Laboratory Medicine Department at Kelowna General Hospital (KGH), part of Interior Health, invites a hematopathologist to join its growing hematopathology division. The successful candidate will work alongside a laboratory faculty of three physicians in a dedicated hematopathology service that covers transfusion medicine (obligatory), coagulation, benign and malignant hematopathology, bone marrow procurement and interpretation, and lymph node biopsy analysis for lymphoproliferative disorders.
Responsibilities
In addition to core diagnostic duties, the role includes regional consultative services, teaching, laboratory oversight, and administrative responsibilities. Leadership development is available through Interior Health’s NAVIG8 Program.
Compensation
