Job Description
Join Ledcor Highways as a Heavy Equipment Technician focusing on maintenance and repair across Alberta. Work with heavy construction equipment to ensure safe road conditions in various locations.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining plows, sanding trucks, loaders, and light support gear. This position is ideal for Journeypersons and registered Apprentices with experience in heavy civil construction or highway maintenance. You will also assist with CVIP inspections and field service calls while adhering to safety policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance on plows and heavy equipment
• Conduct CVIP inspections for trucks and trailers
• Attend service calls in the field as necessary
• Follow internal maintenance procedures and safety policies
• Document maintenance records accurately
