Operate farm equipment including but not limited to, potato marker, potato digger, potato side caster, grain/corn harvesters, and/or planters, and cultivators with a high degree of proficiency.
Work various irrigation tasks including operating and checking pivots, cleaning nozzles, etc.
Perform service, maintenance, repairs, and care of equipment as required.
Partner with the field mechanic on rebuilding equipment, such as planters and harvesters.
Support other farm tasks including field scouting and shop work.
As needed, during planting and harvest, step in as lead which entails organizing other operators, assuring daily goals are met, as well as coordinating with management and mechanics regarding needs and conditions.
