Work site environment: Outdoors. Hot.

Work setting: Various locations.

Tasks:

• Operate heavy equipment.
• Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks.
• Measure distance, volume, length and weight.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment.
• Secure special attachments to equipment.
• Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment.
• Perform minor repairs to equipment.
• Feed conveyors, crushers and other equipment.

Type of heavy equipment operated: Backhoe excavator, loader, grader, loader.

Area of work experience: Land clearing, Stock piling.
