heavy equipment operator

Our company is looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Perform road work, excavation work, lifting work
• Operate and control the equipment safely in changing ground conditions
• Work in adherence to safe practices, procedures, work site or traffic laws
• Complete daily inspection checklists; respond to signals and directions by staff and work in coordination with them
• Work in tight work areas and in close proximity of workers, underground utilities, overhead power lines and the general public
• Perform safety, maintenance or servicing checks to ensure proper functioning of the equipment
• Clean and lubricate equipment and refill tanks
• Perform other duties, as and when assigned
• Inform and advise management or repairmen for major repairs or maintenance
• Safe operation of equipment
