Job Description
**El Dorado Disposal** , a Waste Connections Company, is looking for a **Heavy** **Equipment** **Mechanic** to work at our **Material Recovery Facility and Transfer Station in Placerville, CA** . Mechanics interested in secure, steady employment in a family atmosphere are encouraged to apply.
**Schedule is Monday to Friday, 7AM working 8 hour days. Starting pay is $35 per hour** . The pay range for this job category is $35-$45 per hour.
**JOB SUMMARY** **:** Performs routine maintenance and a variety of repairs on **heavy** **equipment** , trucks, pickup trucks, support **equipment** at the Transfer Station site by performing the following duties:
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** :
+ Diagnose and perform repairs on **heavy** **equipment** such as dozer, scraper, compactor, pickup trucks, water trucks, light towers and all **equipment** on site as needed.
