Position Overview

Finning is seeking a dedicated Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic in Swift Current to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Caterpillar equipment in both shop and field environments, including remote locations.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CAT equipment.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment.
• Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner.
• Provide work support with reference to on‑site safety requirements.
• Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment.

Qualifications

• Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification.
• Clean Driver’s Abstract (Field roles).
• Strong experience in Electrical, Hydraulic, and Emissions systems.
