This role provides leadership and technical expertise to support a proactive, prevention‑based approach to occupational health and safety. The Health & Safety Specialist serves as an effective facilitator and trusted advisor to leadership and employees, ensuring strong safety performance, OSHA compliance, and continuous improvement across the facility.
Summary of Responsibilities
+ Actively participate in and support the company and site Serious Injury and Fatality (SIF) Prevention Program
+ Engage with employees at all levels of the organization to identify, address, and resolve health and safety concerns
+ Support the Cleveland-Cliffs Steel health and safety programs, protocols, and management systems
+ Participate in the Joint Safety and Health program with local union and company lea...
