Duties Description The incumbent will be responsible for oversight, management of operations, and policy formulation and implementation for the following programs within the Center for Strategic Health Initiatives (CSHI):
- Gestational Surrogacy
- New York Patient Occurrence Reporting & Tracking System (NYPORTS)
- Delivery System Reform Analysis & Monitoring.

Duties relating to NYPORTS include program policy formulation and implementation; ensuring NYPORTS program staff adhere to statutory and regulatory requirements for the adverse event reporting system, including the review of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) submissions and the creation of educational materials and data reports for publication and targeted outreach to health care facilities; overseeing NYPORTS program reform initiatives to update regulations to reflect current medical best practices, standards of care, and the review of priority adverse events for the purpose of improving patient safety at health...
