In this role, your focus will include coding and abstracting vital health information while validating records to meet all appropriate regulations. A graduate from a CHIMA-accredited HIM program, you should have a valid CHIMA certificate. Additional responsibilities include data analysis and managing personal health information releases in line with legislative standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Code and abstract health information accurately
• Verify compliance of health records with standards
• Release Personal Health Information under appropriate guidelines
• Conduct data analysis for utilization management
