Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team on Prysor Ward. The individual will be working alongside other members of staff on a day and night shift pattern.
The role involves providing nursing care for a variety of patients on a busy stroke unit and delivering high standard of patient care with compassion and empathy.
Main duties of the job
- Assist in providing high standard patient care, caring and compassionate approach.
- Support the patient with personal care and hygiene needs.
- Encourage nutritional intake.
- Monitor observations and accurately document information.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Qualifications / Experience
- Registered Nurse or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in a stroke or acute care setting preferred.
