Your Opportunity:
Under minimal supervision the Health Care Aide (HCA) is a member of the interdisciplinary team and is responsible for providing direct patient care to assist in the activities of comfort and safety of the patient. This position also assists with patient flow in the Cardiac Recovery Room, ensuring that the service is delivered in an efficient, effective and safe manner. The HCA may assist with movement of patients to and from procedures. The incumbent monitor’s inventory supplies in the work areas and may order supplies as required.
HCA’s are responsible and accountable for the tasks and support functions assigned to them, and for understanding tasks or functions they are able and not able to perform in a particular setting
