Job Description
Lead and manage daily pastry and bakery production in a manufacturing environment.
Ensure production targets, batch consistency, and yield standards are achieved.
Develop, standardise, and maintain SOPs , recipes, and production manuals.
Monitor raw material usage to minimise wastage and control production costs.
Coordinate with Production Planning, QA, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
Develop new pastry and bakery products in line with market trends and business strategy.
Improve existing recipes to enhance shelf life, quality, and cost efficiency.
Conduct product trials, pilot runs, and scale-up processes for mass production.
Work closely with Sales and Marketing on product customisation and seasonal launches
Quality, Food Safety & Compliance
Ensure full compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO, MeSTI where applicable).
