Head Chef – Beaconsfield Heights Care Home
As a Head Chef at Avery Healthcare you will lead a culinary team to provide nutritionally balanced, high‑quality food services that support the well‑being of residents and can be delivered within budget.
Shift Details
7 am – 3:30 pm and 10:30 am – 7 pm
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare modified diets that are appealing and in accordance with IDDSI guidance.
- Place food orders with approved suppliers, maintaining appropriate stock levels and controlling costs within agreed budget limits.
- Supervise and direct kitchen staff and the Host team, providing instruction and demonstration of simple food preparation tasks to unqualified staff.
- Practice safe systems of work across all tasks, assessing risk and ensuring the safety of residents, visitors and staff.
