Position Information:
The Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System (SAVAHCS) is recruiting a full-time Staff Gynecologist to join a dynamic team of dedicated providers and ancillary staff. The hired applicant will join a team providing compassionate healthcare to our female veteran population. The selected provider will report directly to the Section Chief of Gynecology, under the Surgical Service Care line.
Gynecology Responsibilities:
Offer patient care for female veterans including prevention, health maintenance, comprehensive contraception, infertility assessment, as well as evaluation and management of uterine bleeding, prolapse, urinary incontinence, and pelvic pain. Perform gynecologic surgeries, including advanced laparoscopic and operative hysteroscopic cases. Robotics experience is a plus, but not required. Newly renovated OR suites with Olympus towers and a da Vinci Xi system are available on site.
