SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Group Purchasing is responsible for selecting and approving suppliers as well as negotiating agreements for our requirements of both raw materials, packaging, and indirect materials for all Jotun’s factories globally. We are now looking for a new team member with good commercial understanding and motivation to fill the role as Group Purchasing Category Manager.
Your role will be to make sure that all our factories’ requirements are covered, securing our main objectives, continuity of supply, competitive terms, value creation and sustainable sourcing for selected raw material categories/spend areas. You will do this by developing and implementing category strategies and action plans according to the Group Purchasing Category Management/Spend Area Concept to support both the short and long-term competitiveness of Jotun.
This position will be located at our headquarters in Sandefjord, Norway and report to the Group Purchasing Director - Global Categories.
