Job Description Summary
:The group exercise instructor is responsible for leading and instructing the various group exercises classes offered to the users and guests of the facility. An NCCA accredited certification in group exercise and AED/CPR certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire date. At least 6 months of group exercise teaching experience is preferred. The employee is subject to call back and overtime as required by the hospital.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provides users with an entertaining, effective, and safe group exercise experience whenever they participate in a class.
Provides support in properly maintaining the group exercise classroom including alerting the group fitness coordinator of improperly working equipment and ensuring that all equipment is cleaned after each class.
Promotes interactivity between users during the class.
