Description
The General Ledger (GL) Accountant is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records while supporting the month-end close and financial reporting processes. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, accurate accounting and compliance with GAAP.
+ Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and other general ledger transactions.
+ Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
+ Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting.
+ Support the preparation of financial statements and provide documentation for internal and external audits.
+ Partner with AP, AR, Payroll, and FP& A teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
