The
Geotechnical or Geological Engineer
role will provide engineering services to projects across Hatch in the Infrastructure, Mining and Energy sectors. This role participates in a wide range of projects covering geotechnical site investigations, multifaceted modelling, and analysis and design for front‑end planning as well as detailed engineering for multi‑discipline projects. As the successful candidate, you will: Work in the fields of both soil mechanics and rock mechanics Lead geotechnical studies and the delivery of project requirements for projects varying from pre‑feasibility stage to detailed design and construction Participate in scoping requirements for proposals In conjunction with senior staff, perform conceptual and detailed engineering design for dams, rock and soil slopes, linear infrastructure including rail and tunnels, port and marine infrastructure, and shallow and deep foundations of industrial buildings Undertake and lead geotechnical field inves...
