Geotechnical Engineer

Council is offering an exciting opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer to join our innovative City Projects department. In this role, you will deliver high-quality infrastructure investigations, expert advice, and design services across various engineering disciplines, including civil, geotechnical, structural, hydraulic, and environmental.

You will collaborate with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary design team to drive the successful delivery of projects and strategies that benefit both the team and the broader city.

This exciting role will:

Plan, manage and execute geotechnical and contamination site investigations of engineering problems.

Provide professional engineering advice to Council staff, including advice as part of: investigation and design of engineering problems, contract and tender documentation, construction management, legal representation, and business improvement activities
