About the Position

This position will be filled as needed to teach a variety of possible courses offered by the WWU Geology Department. These courses may range from -level Introduction to Geology to upper-division (-) or Graduate level courses in the candidate's specialty that the department may have a need for in a given term. Required Qualifications
A MS degree in the Geosciences or an allied field is required. A demonstrated commitment to quality, student-centered teaching practices, the ability to teach and work in an environment with a diverse student, faculty, and staff is also required. For specific needs, especially at the upper division, an appropriate combination of graduate-level coursework and experience in the field of geoscience that is needed is also required. Preferred Qualifications
