General Practitioner

Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our Healthcare team at HMP Sudbury, a category D prison near Ashbourne in Derbyshire. The prison supports around 660 male patients, many with complex physical and low-level mental health needs. This role involves completing referrals to hospital and external services for patients reintegrating into the community.

Working Hours

Monday: 08:30‑17:00. Part‑time role – 8 hours or 2 sessions per week.

Salary

Up to £125,000 per annum FTE, depending on experience.
