Main duties of the job
As a Salaried GP, you will provide high‑quality, patient‑centred care to diverse local communities. Your responsibilities will include assessing, diagnosing and managing a broad range of acute and chronic health conditions; supporting patients through routine and urgent care, preventative health, long‑term condition management and complex care planning; and contributing to continuity of care via clinical decision‑making, prescribing, referrals, follow‑up and collaborative treatment planning.
Working within EMIS Web and alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team, you will participate in service development, quality improvement projects, teaching, mentoring and innovative models of care.
You will work within a mutually agreed job plan that balances clinical responsibilities with protected time for professional duties, ensuring sustainable workloads and high standards of patient care.
