General Maintenance Worker

Job Description/Summary:

The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a full-time General Maintenance Worker. The GMW will have the responsibility of a designated complex of buildings to ensure proper maintenance is performed, scheduled tasks are accomplished, the building’s overall condition, documentation, service ticket completion, and complete general maintenance for the structures. The General Maintenance Worker will perform general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge (but not proficiency) in such trades as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and general facilities maintenance. The GMW will be responsible for climbing ladders, replacing lightbulbs, replacing ceiling tiles, and responding to service tickets submitted by the customer.
