The General Laborer follows work orders and instructions to ensure materials are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently, using both manual methods and basic equipment such as trucks, tractors, and hoisting devices.

+ Attach identifying tags to containers or clearly mark them with identifying information to ensure accurate tracking and handling.
+ Read work orders or follow oral instructions to determine work assignments, material requirements, and equipment needs.
+ Record the number of units handled and moved using daily production sheets or work tickets to maintain accurate documentation.
