General Duty Medical Laboratory Technologist - Repost

Position Overview

Under the general supervision of the Charge or designate, the General Duty Medical Laboratory Technologist is responsible for clinical analysis and reporting on patient samples according to established protocols. The incumbent will assist in general laboratory projects such as SOPs and chemical inventories, and maintain a safe environment in accordance with professional and provincial guidelines, ensuring compliance with quality assurance programs and accreditation standards. All functions are conducted in accordance with Shared Health Diagnostic Services’ mission and values, current policies, procedures and applicable legislation.

The successful incumbent will also be required to travel to and work in Ste Anne and St. Pierre as needed based on operational requirements.

Salary: $39,382 – $49,407 (based on experience).
